The project was a collaboration between Troy Monroe Stacey of Defy Gravity and Wayne Mrazek of NowHybrids. DG supplied the rocket and NH supplied the HyperTek M1000 hybrid rocket motor. It flew approximately 1 mile high at a launch hosted by Rocketry Organization of California at Lucerne Dry Lake in California on Saturday, April 13, 2002.
